Deborah Heart and Lung Center is seeking a BMET
Position Summary: Ensure that medical equipment is well-maintained, properly configured and safely functional (preventive maintenance). Able to troubleshoot and repair complex issues related to biomedical devices used for the delivery of healthcare. Specializes in maintaining specific biomedical equipment and systems for specific clinical area (i.e. ICU, OR, etc). Experience with patient monitoring, networking and bedside troubleshooting preferred. Assist with mentoring and training of BMET 1 and 2 as needed.
Experience: 5+ years working in a technical (industry/medical/hospital) setting required. 7 years working in a technical (industry/medical/hospital) setting preferred.
Education: Associate in Biomedical Equipment Technology, Electronics Technology, completion of DoD BMET training or equivalent technical or engineering education required.
License and Credentials: CBET preferred.
